What I want to share is a small seed of wisdom I heard from within. Not a whisper. Not a shout. But a clear, steady knowing...each word arriving in rhythm with the whole. Here’s the message. My ancestors are not hurting me, My ancestors are hurting.

This is the seed, the wisdom, the message I was given.
And since it’s arrival about 12 years ago, this tiny seed has grown into moments of miraculous healing, and a steady reciprocity of support between me and my ancestors.

My Ancestors are not hurting me, they are hurting

Greetings, and warm salutations.

I’m nestled in bed with a cold, which is not the place nor situation I would consider making a podcast, but I feel compelled to share - so I’ll let the situation be what it is, and share.

What I want to share is a small seed of wisdom I heard from within.

Not a whisper. Not a shout.

But a clear, steady knowing.

Each word arriving in rhythm to the whole.

Here’s the message.

My ancestors are not hurting me,

My ancestors are hurting.

I’ll repeat that because the simplicity may not reveal the depth.

My ancestors are not hurting me,

My ancestors are hurting.

That is the seed, the wisdom, the message.

And since it’s arrival about 12 years ago, this tiny seed has grown into moments of miraculous healing, and a steady reciprocity of support between me and my ancestors.

I realize now why the seed was given to me.

It was because I was misunderstanding who Ancestors are,

As well as my relationship to them.

I was just beginning to connect to my ancestral lineage and as I did, I was overwhelmed with grief and pain. I felt like I was drowning in it, and that my ancestors were hurting me.

I wanted to quit listening to my ancestors, to disconnect, but I would have needed to sever myself from a part of my own self, for they are with me, and I with them.
