#172 Puzzle Finished! Found Lost Piece, BUT where?!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
I finished my 1,000 piece puzzle! YAY! And these are the last few pieces falling into place, including the LOST piece. BUT, where did I find it!
Welcome to the Lucidas Podcast where I explore everything because I believe everything is connected to everything else. And if you can't see and you're just listening, there is this large thousand-piece puzzle in front of me. And I would say I have a hundred pieces left, maybe less than that. So um I'm gonna try to finish it up while we're watching and talking, and we'll just see how it goes. Um I have to say, with so few left, you would think it would just suddenly things would just fall into place, um, and they don't. It still remains surprisingly tricky uh to get these puzzle pieces. Ah, the fit. Um so I got this puzzle. I know you've heard this before, you can hear it again. Um I got it a year and a half ago. Something to me felt like, hey, it's time for you to get a puzzle. I used to do them on beach trips with my kids mostly. Um I was like, you need to get a puzzle because you're gonna learn. The puzzle's gonna teach you what you need to learn. Um and it was interesting because there were many months where I wouldn't even walk in here and do it. And I have to say talking, doing it at the same time is less productive, but much more productive when I'm not talking, and I just focus on what I'm doing. Um but it's taught me a lot. Um, one of the biggest things is timing. There were times when it just it just it's like it just wasn't time. Like just leave it alone, move on with life. Isn't that strange you would think, with so few options here that I could just find where this goes. It's bizarre. It's it's strange sometimes how it just should fit something. But I mean it just doesn't. And that's the other thing is when, and I know I've sent it to this again, but these are the lessons that really were driven home is you think something should fit, it just doesn't. Or you think something should be easy and it isn't. You know, like this shouldn't be that hard. It shouldn't be that hard, why is this so hard? It shouldn't be that hard, why is this why doesn't this just work? Why doesn't this just fit? What you know, what am I doing wrong? That's that one. So that's you know, and I think the other thing it starts to show you is um it it sort of brings to the forefront the sort of the storylines in your head. Because you get to hear them over and over again as you do the puzzle. Um so I've I've gotten to hear this shouldn't be that hard. I've heard that a lot. Um or um why is this taking so long? Um I'm never gonna get this done. This is stupid. Oh, I've heard this is so stupid.
SPEAKER_00Why am I doing this? This is so stupid. Why am I doing this? This is my too.
SPEAKER_09Um so you also it's also sh let me listen to myself more consciously, um, because it's been so repetitious, hearing them again and again, and just kind of seeing the silliness of so many of my thoughts. And how they're they're often they're just irrelevant, but it's not even like they're just silly. There's it's like a babbling child looking nanoclap. But a puzzle is a great way to hear yourself. To hear yourself say all the things you're saying that sort of are able to slip by. I don't know. Until you actually do this. You see, you think this see these things. It was funny because I was like, I don't know if this is a good idea. Because you think they should just go into place, but they don't. It's just like like there aren't that many options left. Why doesn't it just go into place?
SPEAKER_10Things fit the way they fit, when they fit, how they fit, and that is it.
SPEAKER_09That is it. So it's just it's annoyingly deceptive, you know, how easy it should be versus what it's actually like. Um I have to say I'm super, I'm super excited to get this done. I'm glad to be done. I'm actually done with it. Oh, here's the other interesting. There were times when I would walk in here and I would look at it and I would get a lot done. I would accomplish a lot. But look, I've got two in a row. Um I would accomplish a lot and and then something to me would say, I'm not ready. Isn't that weird? It would be like, I'm not, I'm not actually ready to finish this puzzle. And I would walk out. Um which I don't even know. I mean what what the hell does that's the other thing, like what the hell does it matter when I finish this puzzle? Like the world's gonna stop, it's gonna end, it's gonna like what? Like what does that mean? It doesn't really be anything, but for some reason that was part of it like, but I'm not I'm not ready. And I was like, okay, um, I am s I'm ready. I'm excitedly ready, I'm ready, ready, I'm ready to be done with this puzzle. Um again, that's the whole fascinating thing about timing, is why does it matter? Like, does it matter, does it? Does it matter? I don't know. Does it matter? And often I'll re I'll remind myself, I'll think about those moments where I've met someone, and and we have to be standing right there in that space and time, in that moment, in that way, um, for it to have happened. And you kind of go, wow, like that that was like timing. You know, that is a just huge mystery. Got one of timing. I'm hoping to get this done. It's in the morning, um, and I need to go work out. I have a class I need to go to, so I'm hoping to get this done. So I'm actually kind of in a hurry. But I don't know if it's gonna happen. Um, so timing, timing, timing, timing, timing. Strangely timing, and then fit. Some things fit and and some things don't, and you just you can't wish it any different. You cannot wish it any different. Like that's just been you know, huge. And even in my life right now, I I think about the things that didn't work. Um, and there's some that I'm like, oh thank God. Like, woof. You know, and other ones I just think I I wish. I wish they would have. I wish it could have. I I don't know why it didn't. Um but you can, I think it's got one. Um, you know what? I don't know if I've ever said this, but all of these, I have no idea where you're listening to this. But all of these are on got it, YouTube. You can go to my YouTube channel. So if you're listening to some like a Apple or Spotify or whatever, Spotify does have the videos if I get around to loading them up separately. Um, but they all are on YouTube. So if you actually want to see the puzzle and want to see me try to quickly finish it, um, or quickly not finish it, it remains to be seen. What will happen here? Okay, so things fit. They fit or they don't fit, and it doesn't matter how many times you try it or how much you wish. Um it just sometimes it's it's just not gonna fit. And it doesn't, but that's the other thing, is sometimes you'll be like, well, the puzzle piece is still there, so I haven't found where it fits, but I know it fits somewhere. Um, so I'm not saying that things aren't possible, but but that's another thing, is sometimes I would look for, I know on the last one I did about the puzzle, there are these fascinating pieces. I was like, I just cannot see how this is ever gonna fit anywhere. And then when they did go into their space, I would I was like, I would never have seen that. That is not anywhere. Like I was I was thinking it was over here, and I found its home like up here or something, and I realized I would never, I never saw, you know, that piece fitting in in that way. Um so so no, you may have a piece and you're like, no, it does not fit. It does not fit. Um sometimes you have to wait a while, you have to wait longer until something else is in place before you see that it does fit, but not in the way you thought, um, you know, not in the way you were trying to make it happen. I cannot so kid does want to stay there. So you never know. You never know.
SPEAKER_02You never know.
SPEAKER_09Um I'm trying to think what else this puzzle taught me. Taught me a lot about patience. Oh, it taught me a lot about showing up. I would because I was like I said, I said this before. I'm just repeating what I've already said, but I'm just repeating what we all already know. I'm not telling you something you don't know. But just because we know something doesn't mean we're good at remembering it, at implementing it, at practicing it, blah blah blah blah blah. Um, and that's why I think that's why I use things like this to help remind me. Um to give me practice. It's a great way for me to practice. Got another one. Um to practice what the things that I need. Obviously, obviously, got another one. Obviously, life is gonna teach us what we need to learn because those are cut another one. Look, I'm finding these. See, suddenly you'll be like, Oh, you finally kind of kind of get the color scheme and the place and things fall in place, and you're like, Oh, yeah, right, I'm rocking it, and then bam, the rocking stops. But for a moment, it was amazing. Um, so you're gonna learn, you know, each of us will learn the lessons we need um by doing something like this. By and basically something like this just means applying yourself, like got one, applying yourself to some to anything, to anything, and that is that has been interesting for me um to witness lately. So I changed the place where I work out. I think this is so fascinating. I used to always go like to the traditional gyms, um, but I recently switched and I've been going to the rec center, got another one. Um, and it just so happens the rec center, or maybe it's just the time that I'm there, that's a quite it's a much older population that are working out now. And I'm like the young one. It's kind of strange because you know, at the gym I was definitely one of the older, and now I'm suddenly one of the younger. And what I've what I see are people's limitations, um, their idea of limitations, and their idea of possibility. So I will see I also see like the way this this one of the most fascinating things is the way people have chosen to live their life. Um meaning, you know, there's that person that walks in and they smile and they say hello and they're congenial with everyone and they're polite and they're thoughtful, and they're they just you know, they kind of um it's it's quite remarkable, honestly. It's not something that I would say has you know, it necessarily comes naturally to me, or I could I could easily not be that. I could also be that. And you know, you kind of go, oh, well, you know, easy life, whatever, whatever. And then you get to another person and you're like, oh man, like they've they've been through through some really hard stuff, and they're choosing to be like this, like they're choosing to show up and really be decent with other people and and kindly got one. Um anyway. And then there's someone else that comes in and man, so surly and negative and da da da and just and you just think that's that's an interesting decision that every every day, you know, it's kind of becomes like so. You're telling me, and obviously they're retired, um, they obviously have plenty of time, they've got money, you know, they've so this, you know, they're not wanting. Um I shouldn't, I don't anyway, I think you understand. Um, they have plenty of opportunities to enjoy life in this stage of their life, and that their life is ending. This is really getting close to the end. Man, just so just just yeah. And I just think, wow, like every day of your life is bad. Like every I mean I can we all have bad days. I mean, there are days I'm sure I show up there and people are like, yeah, she's not in a very good mood today. You know, so it's not going, it's not like anybody shows up every day like that. But there's never a good day in this person's life, like ever? Like, has there ever been a good day? And and also, like, your life has been so much worse than everyone else's? Like what what like are you sure about that? Like, are you sure? You know, because uh you hear some stories out there that are uh like they're just unbelievable. You just can't, like, you know. So this was working out, you know, and really noticing people's attitude that the way people choose to be the world. Um God. I got that one because of the shape. Not even the color. Sometimes it's interesting, like I'll see I'll see a shape, and my eye will go, ooh, that you can find that shape easily. And then sometimes it'll be a color, ooh, you can find that color easily. Um sometimes it's a mixture of both. And sometimes it's blind ass luck, and I just pick it up and it fits somewhere, and I think, alright. Um so, you know, there have been times where I've stared at the puzzle and felt pretty negative about it. Like, I didn't make any headway, I didn't. It's funny how so much of this had to do with progress and completion. I I would say this was this was mostly about progress and completion, which I hadn't said that until just now. I haven't even realized it. So little of it was about well, it was about discovery. I mean, I have to give myself that. I mean, I and I was it was about learning and discovery. But never once did I consider got one. Did I consider not finishing it and just doing it for a little while and then putting it away? Got another one. Can you imagine doing that? Like, like this just says something about me. I'm just laughing at myself right now. Can you imagine like getting it out? Like, what if I stopped right now? Like, what if I stopped right now? And I was like, Okay, I'm like, I don't know, maybe there's 50 pieces left, probably not that many. And I'm like, what if I just yeah, I'm just gonna put it away. This is close enough. I'm just gonna put it away and then I'll get it out another time and finish it. Like that would be interesting if I chose to do that. I don't think I'm going to. It's not even good. I wanna like finish it and be done and like not ever do it again. God that like I I am in this very completion, you know, oriented mindset. I'm gonna complete this, and then I can say, I did this thousand piece bundle, and then I can hand it to someone else and go, Would you like to do this? You could do it now, but I'm done with it. But I can't, I can't imagine, like it's not like finishing it. But but that should I black because that would be a really good thing to do, I think. To walk away and be like, you know what, I'm gonna do this again. Some other day, I'm gonna come back to this, um, do it again. Uh, and yeah, it'll be great. I didn't finish it this time, I'm gonna finish it next time. I mean, it does that's what I'm saying, it doesn't what I'm doing doesn't matter, but I I still I still act and feel like it, you know, it it does. Like I have to finish it. Got one. Um how could you I could but then I couldn't say I didn't, you know, I I couldn't say I finished it. I'd say I almost did a thousand piece puzzle. Nobody likes to hear that. You almost did it? Why didn't you just finish it? Well, I got that one. Because I was I didn't finish it because I was just enjoying it and I just thought I'd come back and and do it another day.
SPEAKER_07Oh, that's just dumb. You should have just finished it. Why not just finish it?
SPEAKER_08No, I just thought it would be I just thought I'd do it again one day.
SPEAKER_09Why would you do it again?
SPEAKER_08Because it was enjoyable.
SPEAKER_09Because there was nothing that had to be finished. Yeah, that's uh the that's definitely a mindset I could got one uh I could work on. Not the we will finish at all costs. We will finish at all costs.
SPEAKER_11That one looks like it should fit better than that.
SPEAKER_09Oof, got it. I want you to notice that one big empty space, white space up there, which from the very beginning I saw that and was like there should be a white piece and there isn't. And I have never never found it. That piece never appeared. I've got this song stuck in my head. A friend asked me to learn uh boots of Spanish leather. He wants to sing it. It's a it's a Bob Dylan song. A lot of people sing it. It's a duet. Two partners. One of them's leaving. Anyway, I was just listening to it before, so it's stuck in my head. You see, you think you think I could find that piece because there aren't that many options, but no, I didn't. Alright, let me see if I can see anything on these pieces that gives me a clue. That has this See this has a smidgen of brown, but I don't see I don't see a piece with brown.
SPEAKER_08I wonder if I'm missing more than one piece.
SPEAKER_01It definitely it definitely has brown.
SPEAKER_11And I don't cannot see one.
SPEAKER_09And it's funny because then I have this one with like this little teeny tipped streak of green. And I've looked at it so many times, and I just have not found where it goes. I feel like I have puzzle pieces that I have I'm missing the piece with brown, and this weird streak piece with green. I've never been able to see where it's gonna go. And I've studied, I've stared at the picture. Where would this go? Wouldn't that be funny like if if it was like if I was missing a few pieces? Because I should have another piece over here with some brown when I don't have that. But wouldn't that be funny? After all my talk about well, what's the big deal if you don't finish the puzzle?
SPEAKER_10If I actually like couldn't because I was missing pieces. Too funny.
SPEAKER_09You know, I have to say, um got one. As much as I've, you know, learned and worked on and accepted. I just still really I feel so lost to me feels so magnified. I feel like you know, something just kind of came up last night. It was just, oh god. Um wasn't even like nothing happened, it was more just like a memory or or deeper realization.
SPEAKER_00Got one.
SPEAKER_09And I just it's just it's still surprising to me how profoundly I can feel loss even when it's been however long it's been. You know, and having only been myself, I don't know if other people feel it in the same way or as deeply as I do, or if maybe it's something a little more persona. I think that's one of the most fascinating things about being human is we don't really know what other people's experiences. Even when they tell us, it's still just a story.
SPEAKER_11Got it.
SPEAKER_09Got it. How can she not see where that goes? It's so obvious. If she scans over it one more time, I'm gonna scream. But that's the difference between sitting in the audience and standing on the stage, right? And I quote from this person in the arena. It's always easy to see it from the outside and place your judgment on it. Don't get too cocky. Get in the arena.
SPEAKER_11Somewhere.
SPEAKER_09I swear it fits nowhere. Which cannot be the case.
SPEAKER_11Now what I can see.
SPEAKER_09Let's see. See, and then I start I feel like I've tried everything. I know I've tried this one with this weird green color at the top. I have tried it so many times. And all the green areas. It just doesn't ever fit. Again, I swear I'm like, I've tried this so many times. I swear it doesn't belong to this puzzle.
SPEAKER_06Just literally doesn't belong to this puzzle.
SPEAKER_09See? I swear this piece just does not it just start at oh my god.
SPEAKER_00There it goes.
SPEAKER_09So annoying. So annoying.
SPEAKER_11Another one.
SPEAKER_09It's so satisfying, I know. That's a it's just when you get one that pops in it's so damn satisfying. I do. I really feel like I might be missing some pieces. I'm sure I'm not. Well, I do think I'm missing one for sure.
SPEAKER_11I've had this one, this little white, just as tiniest white tip. It's gonna go right along one of these tentacles, but not, not yet, it doesn't.
SPEAKER_09Not yet, it doesn't. Okay, look for something else.
SPEAKER_08What else? What else? What else? Do you see something I don't see? And is it aggravating?
SPEAKER_09I've never watched someone, well, I guess if I've been around and someone's doing a puzzle, I tend to get involved because I see things that I think, well shit, well that goes there and that goes there. Well it's very fun and enjoyable and helpful to help out. And you can got it, and you can see now why maybe some people are annoyed with me because I can be so helpful and they don't want my help. I won't name names, like my children. Or like I can figure my life out all by myself. Sure, I know, but I have some great advice too. I mean it's okay, so with that pretty light blue hat, maybe this goes hot, and I found that one by the color.
SPEAKER_00And then shoot interesting, very interesting.
SPEAKER_09Okay. Like you think with so few I mean actually you think with so few options I could get this figured out, but I just think not. I have to say, and that one up there, that really dark one, I just don't see that one either.
SPEAKER_00I'm trying so many.
SPEAKER_09That's the other thing is sometimes you learn to just try, you're like, it's not gonna fit. And you're like, just try it, and it fits. You know, you can't always see.
SPEAKER_07So you just have to pick it up and try it and go.
SPEAKER_00Okay, yeah. So I swear it's not going to.
SPEAKER_10Okay, my glue can fall up.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_11I said that last time.
SPEAKER_09Pick up a new piece. Pick up a new piece. Try something new. Try something different.
SPEAKER_07Turn it all around.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_11Alright. It's green.
SPEAKER_09Should go. Should go. Could go anywhere. Should go nowhere. Oh, got it. Oh my gosh, we're down to like no, I think we're down to 30. Ultimately some people finish this. See, it's the whole it's the finishing. It's the finishing.
SPEAKER_07I'm not enjoying it, I just want to finish it. Just want to do that. I just want to be able to say, oh my god, if that fits.
SPEAKER_00No. I'm forgetting.
SPEAKER_09Okay, look at this pretty blue right here. It's gonna be a big piece. Is it this one?
SPEAKER_07Maybe it goes this way. Yes.
SPEAKER_10Okay.
SPEAKER_11So we have still like pretty blue on the other side, it's not like false. Anyone, anyone? Huh.
SPEAKER_09Um right, it's funny because I like I can feel how close I am.
SPEAKER_10Just gotta be done. I'm so close. So close. Just like, just go in your place.
SPEAKER_09Just go. Go. Go where you're supposed to go. Just finish it off. Finish it off. No enjoyment at all. Just finish the damn thing.
SPEAKER_04Hmm.
SPEAKER_09Okay. Alright, this one is has this really unusual shape.
SPEAKER_08Oh, what's that? Oh, okay. And that shape. Okay, anything else I can find? No, don't we have to still partlets on that one?
SPEAKER_07Might be that one.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_09That's pretty much all the unusual shapes. Okay. So and see at least that one that I just swear to have. I don't have anything brown anymore.
SPEAKER_10Okay, let's have to make it down on the floor. Good luck.
SPEAKER_00No, nothing.
SPEAKER_09I swear I do. I do think I might be missing a couple. I don't I know I've said that because there are pieces that don't belong. Don't actually believe that. I believe these probably all do belong somewhere in here. But I really can't see how I have some pieces.
SPEAKER_00I mean this wasn't like a high quality. I didn't pay a lot for this puzzle. So it wouldn't.
SPEAKER_11It wouldn't be beyond imagining that it wasn't a perfect puzzle.
SPEAKER_09Because every life is perfect, and so every puzzle should also be perfect. Damn, and I was just feeling so I could just feel the vibes. I was on a roll. Now I can't get anything. Yeah, that's another funny thing about life. You get on a roll and you think you've got it figured out.
unknownLike, yeah, gotta figure it out.
SPEAKER_09And then life goes comes along and goes to you.
SPEAKER_10Got it. But maybe I'll take that back.
SPEAKER_09Oh, okay. Where is ah, I found that one because there was a stripe across it. And then this one. Ooh, it's getting better. You see, like it's like I just don't get too agitated about finishing. It'll go better.
SPEAKER_11This one up here. I don't see it. It has this tip of green to its own shape. And this one looks like blue. Got it. And this one. Oh, might be these two.
SPEAKER_09Oh yes, maybe they're then these these these two. It's been so helpful to put smaller pieces together. Oh, you're right there. Um finding those smaller.
SPEAKER_11Ta-da.
SPEAKER_09Oh my god. I've never finished a puzzle by myself. It's very, it's honestly ta-da! So rewarding. Look! There's another brown piece. And then there's these two. I've had stared at these two forever because the pattern on them is so unusual. And there they go. Doi. So it's sometimes annoying. When you tried ta-da! When you tried so hard, it's so hard times to find its home, and you can't find it, and then it just slips in somewhere. Ta-da! Well, this is so fun! Oh my god, I could finish it. Done. And better not get too cocky.
SPEAKER_11That's kind of sound to me. Um, looks pretty blue. Not really. This one nope. I would, but nope. Nope. Nope. Okay.
SPEAKER_09Um yeah, I I don't I don't this is weird. I do not see. Oh shoot, I thought I had my own.
SPEAKER_11I still don't see that one up there.
SPEAKER_00There it is.
SPEAKER_09Okay, and this very green one. There it goes. Oh my god, look at this. We're down to like I'm gonna count a two, four, six, eight, nine. We're down to nine. One. Oh, there's two. Uh three.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god, I'm gonna do it.
unknownNope.
SPEAKER_00Four.
SPEAKER_09Five. Six. Oh my gosh, are you ready? Seven.
SPEAKER_10Eight. Oh my god, here it is. Are you ready? Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
SPEAKER_09Nine. Look at that. Did it? I did nine hundred and ninety-nine pieces, which I honestly sort of love. I have to look. Can you see? So I wonder if I can I can do things. I'm a smart woman. I can bring this closer and I can tip it down. So there it is. Okay, there it is. 999 pieces with one missing. I sort of like that. I sort of it's like I don't know. You know, it's like the Japanese pottery that breaks and then they put it back together with gold. Well, hell, I did it. There you go. It's funny because like now you just like uh put it back in the box. It should say 999.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna like I'm literally gonna look inside the box just to make sure it didn't get stuck. That one rogue piece.
SPEAKER_09Well, I just don't even know what to think about that. Honestly. I did it. That's pretty cool. That is pretty cool. There it is. Now, now the question is, do you want to see me like?
SPEAKER_04Oh, that would be like so satisfying to watch. It doesn't feel very satisfying to do. But I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. I have it. I did it. I did it. I'm so, I'm so if this is, I'm so proud of myself.
SPEAKER_09I'm so proud of myself. When I think about the woman who bought this puzzle, um so lost, so confused, so much pain, so much confusion, just so like I was still in the rape trial. Like there was just, and I think about how far I've come in the last 18 months. I have put together a beautiful life, and I get so frustrated and irritated and impatient and demanding with myself and with life, but and um I'm super proud.
SPEAKER_05And I'm gonna take it apart because one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that I can do it again. And I was afraid that I couldn't rebuild a life that too much had been damaged or broken or lost. And I've realized that I can, and I am, and so if I should choose one day to do this or another puzzle again, I will be able to. Oh my god. I didn't know I could actually do that.
SPEAKER_04Oh, it's like way sturdier than I thought. I thought it was just gonna like fall apart.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, you know, you just are like you just don't know these things until you try.
SPEAKER_09This one's gonna do it.
SPEAKER_04Oh away. No, it's like it's like amazing.
SPEAKER_09You know, I've been so careful. And I thought I was like fragile.
SPEAKER_10And I'm like, it's oh my god.
SPEAKER_02So now I could I can tear this one. I can tell them there are 999 pieces. You let me know when you finish it which one is missing. That's it. That's it. We did it, and I can do it again.
SPEAKER_09That was that was a beautiful journey.
SPEAKER_10And I think this puzzle for teaching me all it did have.
SPEAKER_09And the octopus. I have to say it it mattered that it was an octopus. It's an important part of my life of who I am and what I do and how I move through the world.
SPEAKER_02And so I'm grateful to each one of these 999 pieces.
SPEAKER_08Everything they taught me.
SPEAKER_02Everything else purposes taught me.
SPEAKER_06There are a lot of different ways to be in the world and having the versatility to apply many of them at different times is like that.
SPEAKER_09I have to say it is it is more rewarding to take it apart than I thought it would be. It's like I it's like a testament of faith and courage. Like I could do anything. I can do it again. I did it once, I can do it again. Or I'd never done it. I've been I'd never done this. I've never done a thousand-piece puzzle on my own. I've never done this puzzle. I can do things I've never done before, and I can do them more than once. Which that kind of faith. I think most people that are able to do the things they want to do in life, they don't live without doubt. I don't believe that, but I believe they have some kind of faith in themselves or in the process. I would say for me, it's probably in the process that if I find a process and I stick to it, learn along the way, adapt, make the necessary changes.
SPEAKER_02There you go, just like that. It's all in pieces, it's all in pieces again. All in pieces again.
SPEAKER_11I can't believe that.
SPEAKER_09It was so much more durable and strong than I thought. I really had been treating it like this fragile thing, and find out you can pick the damn thing up. Build something well. Build something well.
SPEAKER_06Every minute, every breath.
SPEAKER_09But to do so, it's like the mandalas, you know, those sand mandalas that the root of the monks create and then blow it away. This was mine. Have a beautiful day. Okay, welcome to the lucidest podcast. I've literally just gotten home and I walk to um my workouts, and you will not believe what I found on the ground. I kid you not. On the ground, on the way home. So on my way there, I walk through this park. There's a community garden, and I was chatting with my friend Charles and saying, hey, um, you won't believe I just finished this puzzle, blah blah blah blah blah blah. And um so we just chat for a quick second, and then um I don't really think too much about oh, and then I as when I got to the my place to do my class, I told the instructor, guess what? I just finished this thousand piece puzzle, da-da-da-da-da-da. They're all very cool, and then I forget about it, and I'm walking home, and I'm just like um walking along the sidewalk, and I suddenly look and I go, No way, no way. So it's obviously a puzzle piece. Um, it doesn't have anything on either side. It's I must have my phone upside down because it's doing weird things. Um it's working. Okay, I have to stop and tell you. I'm not crazy. I must have my phone, it must be recording upside down.
SPEAKER_04I'm holding my phone upside down because when because this what I'm seeing isn't isn't mirror view. Yeah, it's really weird. Anyway, it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_09What does matter is that I found a puzzle piece on the ground. My belly's curgling on the way home. So I now have a thousand-piece puzzle. I have no idea if this fits in my puzzle, but that's not even the point. I just can't believe I found this one puzzle piece on my way home. The day I finished my thousand piece puzzle with only 999 pieces, and there it is. My finishing piece. Life is just um just fascinating, if nothing else.
SPEAKER_05Have a beautiful day.
